Beeswax

Beeswax is the natural secretion of the bee. It is the product of 8 wax glands situated in the ventral face of the worker's abdomen. Beeswax is the framework of the combs which are perfect geometrical structures. These combs are the building blocks of the Beehive. They are the nursery for the queens to lay eggs and the brood to grow.

• They are the wall to protect them from the outside
• They are the storage place for pollen, nectar and honey.

• Research has found that beeswax has great medicinal values. Valuable when treating arthritis, some form of dermatoses and bronchial asthma. Used as ear candle to relieve tinnitus. It seems to have also strong antibiotic properties against bacterial activities. It is used in Cosmetology, makes a good emulsifier and a great excipient.  Its properties are valued. In dermatology it is used to clean the skin, has good scaring ability and anti-inflammatory properties.
